Thomas Bachmann is responsible for Business Development at Gemalto AG, a member of the Thales Group, in the Business Line "Banking & Payment Services". He has many years of experience in the development and development of payment and digital banking solutions in various executive positions, as well as a strong background in sales, partner management, product management, project management and consulting. His responsibilities include innovative payment card solutions, eKYC (identity verification solutions), mobile payment, strong customer authentication and fraud prevention. Thomas Bachmann studied mechanical engineering and automation technology and holds an MBA in strategic management. He also completed further education in the areas of digital banking and cybersecurity. Thomas Bachmann is Austrian and lives with his family in Aarau.
Markus holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and ICT, as well as an Executive MBA. With more than 10 years experience in the IT industry, he has worked as a business consultant for several major companies in the European market. Being engaged as a senior strategy consultant at Swiss Federal Railways since September 2014, he is currently shaping the digital transformation of the company into his role as Director Digital Business. Markus Basler is married, father of a daughter and lives in Baden.
Christian Baumann is Global Head Digital Retail at Worldline / SIX Payment Services and, in addition to digital innovation and the Merchant Experience such as portals, automated onboarding, is also responsible for all value-added services related to payment. He was co-founder, co-owner and, between 2004 and 2016, managing director of xsmart AG, atake the Boost Group Switzerland.
