Professor Hong Lin received his PhD in Computer Science in 1997 at the University of Science and Technology of China. Hong Lin was a postdoctoral research associate at Purdue University; an assistant research officer at the National Research Council, Canada, and a software engineer at Nokia, Inc. Dr. Lin is currently a professor in computer science and an assistant chair at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Technology. His research interests include human-centered computing, cognitive intelligence, data analytics, and parallel/distributed computing. He is the supervisor of the Grid Computing Lab at UHD. He is also a senior member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
Yonglei Tao is a professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems at Grand Valley State University, Michigan, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Iowa in 1990.
